Clear aligners are a flexible alternative to traditional braces that uses clear aligners to gradually shift teeth into position. The aligners, made of a strong and flexible thermoplastic, are durable and unlike traditional wire braces can be removed while you’re eating, brushing and flossing. Clear aligners also offers more comfort because there are no sharp, metal edges or wires to aggravate the sensitive tissues in your mouth.
Over the course of your clear aligners treatment, we’ll replace your aligners (usually every 2-4 weeks) to continually encourage teeth to move towards their ideal positions. The length of time needed to get desired results will depend on the state of your smile. The good news is, after your custom aligners are created we’ll have a strong prediction for how long it will take to straighten your teeth.
